June 8: Group Dance – ‘New York/Latin Hustle’: “The Hustle” is usually remembered by John Travolta’s dance in Saturday Night Fever extremely popular in the 1970s. Today, it’s known more as a partner dance done in ballrooms and nightclubs. This partner dance is known as “The New York or Latin Hustle”
Dress THEME – Dress in your fun Country flare or your 1940′s Swing look- it’s an interesting mix to help celebrate upcoming June events!

Location: Odd Fellows Lodge #36 (Upstairs from Majestic)
319 E. 4th. Street, Loveland, Colorado
There is off street parking in the front and back of the building. Come up stairs through the door on the right side of Majestic event center. Odd Fellows is the building. There will be sign on the door for “Variety Dance- sponsored by Okay Dance.”

Music: Dance to a variety of inspiring DJ music. Contemporary and oldies. You’ll find a good assortment of West Coast Swing, Jitterbug, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Hustle, Night Club Two Step, some Country and a line dance or two.
Couples and Singles are welcome. All Levels of dancing are encouraged – it’s fun to watch the more advanced dancers and gives the beginner something to aspire to. Dancers are friendly and are encouraged to dance with all levels of ability. Traveling dances follow line of dance and you can dance whatever style of dance you are learning.
Attire: Business casual comfortable – Be respective of other dancers by keeping perfume at a minimum, washing hands often, and wearing clean and neat clothing.
Water/Tea/Coffee is available – feel free to bring your own liquid or snacks to share. NO ALCOHOL allowed. Share your favorite treat and think THEME!
This is a fun way to practice what you’ve been learning, get out and enjoy the company of others and feel refreshed with good music and dancing. I hope you join us!!

Location: The Fort Collins Club at 1306 E. Prospect Rd., Ft Collins

Fort Collins has been in need of a consistent place to enjoy traditional ballroom dancing for many years. Serious ballroom dancers have spent time and money to learn their craft. Time on the dance floor is the only effective method for retaining the skills acquired by the effort of training. Michael Glavanovich and Fred Fuller decided to address this unmet need. This is the motivation behind the creation of FC Ballroom.
The evening will include DJ selections of Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, American Tango, Rhumba, Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, Samba and more. Be among the first to help launch FC Ballroom.
