As a dancer for over 25 years, Debra Endres received most of her training through Arthur Murray Dance Studio: competing professionally with Arthur Murray Dance Studio and In The Mood Dance Studio of Minneapolis, MN. Her performances also included exhibitions for local TV programs, dance venues and malls, and promotions for Pickwick Records. Debra managed her own community dance center in Northfield, MN.
Arriving in Colorado in 2003, Debra wasted no time integrating into the local arts community. She has performed on-stage at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, and has performed and choreographed numbers in Loveland at both the Rialto Theater and city museum. She started teaching in the area in 2004 and then created the Okay Dance Studio in 2007, including instructing the ballroom dance classes for Aims Community College at both the Loveland and Greeley campuses. Debra is well trained in the Ballroom, Swing, Latin, and Country dances and continues to train with top coaches in Denver, Minneapolis and Los Angeles, taking advantage of the many talented professionals in the area. She teaches private and group lessons, for singles and couples, special events, and wedding couples first dance choreography.
Her passion is to bring couples together by introducing them to the beautiful world of dance. Dance is a physical and emotional form of communication that involves the whole self. When you feel the rhythms of the music your body experiences the emotion- and in couples dancing you share that emotion. The leader creates the physical choreography and the follower creates the interpretation. When couples learn to respond to each other they create an exhilaration that will last a lifetime. Dance should be fun, it should bring out the best in a couple… so enjoy the experience and smile!
